I am sorry you bought a pretty pink ribbon and thought 100% of the money (or even a fraction of it) was going for some greater cause. It’s not your fault. The marketing campaigns worked beautifully and you were duped into thinking that somehow buying a wristband would help cure breast cancer. You want to “support the boobies!”? Buy a bra. Pay very close attention to where your money is actually going and put it some place where it will truly do some good. Of course, I don’t have all the answers but I can see what isn’t working and this needed to be said. I’d like to thank the rest of the people on BOTH sides of the argument for their intelligent opinions and discussions. My heart goes out to anyone who has lost a loved one to cancer and to all who bravely fight through this disease. No, I will not buy a pink ribbon this October because I support victims, survivors, and their families, not whatever organization is looking to cash in on this brilliant marketing scheme. -Beans"
