BREATHING AND YOGA During your yoga practice is your emphasis on your inhalation or exhalation? Keep in mind that when you exhale your muscles relax more and more and you can go deeper and deeper into your pose. Breathing properly during the pose will keep oxygen moving through your bloodstream reaching and nourishing the parts in your body being worked on according to the pose in play. Poor oxygen circulation will make your muscles tired in no time and your yoga practice will not be your best.
