BRICS Offer World Win-win Cooperation on Security, As Well as - TopicsExpress

BRICS Offer World Win-win Cooperation on Security, As Well as Economics In much the same fashion that Chinese President Xi Jinping used his Nov. 12 joint press conference with Barack Obama at the APEC summit, to welcome the active participation of the United States and other relevant countries, so that together we can promote and share, prosperity and peace in Asia-Pacific, through the Silk Road Fund, the AIIB, and other BRICS-related new economic institutions, the Chinese government used the Nov. 19-20 Fifth Xiangshan Forum in Beijing with 300 international security experts and scholars present, to send a similar message as regards global security. That message was clear in the events title: Win-win Cooperation: Build the Asian Community of Common Destiny. But Defense Minister Gen. Chang Wanquan, also stated in his keynote address to that conference, that China was fully prepared, to effectively safeguard its national sovereignty, security and development interests, if the West rebuffs those offers for cooperation, and continues on its confrontationist course that threatens Chinas existence, and that of the entire planet. The Russians reiterated their similar warnings this weekend, as Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov stated that, with its economic sanctions against Russia, the West is making clear it does not want to force Russia to change policy, but wants to secure regime change. The simple fact is, that, if the United States and Europe do not join with the BRICS new world economic order, the planet is on a fast track for war—a global thermonuclear war of extinction. The string of provocations that Obama and the British keep throwing at Russia and China, in Ukraine, in Poland, and in Southwest Asia, Lyndon LaRouche commented today, can lead suddenly to general warfare, not some tinker-toy, step-by-step escalation, as some might imagine. Under modern warfare, he explained, you dont get tiddly-winks. In the Nov. 21 LaRouche PAC webcast, Lyndon LaRouches thinking on this matter was summarized as follows: The United States, NATO and Europe are trying to present Russia and China with provocations, provocations that are intended to outflank them, and stop their drive with the BRICS and the other development projects they have launched. But, it wont work. Russia and China actually have superior power, logistically and strategically, over the trans-Atlantic alliance, the trans-Atlantic system, because their policy is centered and based on a science-driver program, with Chinas Moon-based space project going in the direction of the concepts that Johannes Kepler originally outlined. And, it is the strength that comes from that, which puts them actually in a superior position. Its what LaRouche refers to as the Kepler Principle. The torment that is being delivered to China and Russia, is intended to disorient the core of the BRICS, both among the nations of Asia and also their allies in South America, and to try to provoke a mistake on their part. But that is not likely to happen. A challenged power has to be prepared for suffering losses, but lesser losses than those would be indicated by the defeat, coming from an existential threat to their very existence. That is the way that President Putin of Russia clearly thinks; China and India are also prepared to take this position, because it is the only one that makes sense. Think of the position that the Chinese, the Russians, the Indians and the leadership of humanity generally, are actually in. When you take responsibility for all humanity, you have to be prepared to take certain risks, in order to minimize the long-term losses to humanity. Not taking the risk, under those circumstances, is actually recklessly insane. The guiding concept is the long-term survival of humanity, and humanity means the unique Keplerian principle of mans willful creativity, as the dominant force of the Solar System—and beyond. larouchepac/20141122/brics-offer-world-win-win-cooperation-security-well-economics
