BRIEF BOOK REVIEW: Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson I listened to - TopicsExpress

BRIEF BOOK REVIEW: Steve Jobs by Walter Isaacson I listened to this book on CD during a recent road trip with my family. I love to know about interesting people and their journeys. If you do too, this book is worth your time. A few thoughts that I had after listening to this book: 1.Dream Big and Expect It: Steve Jobs was eccentric and focused on excellence but had vision. His ideas literally transformed the way we live and use technology. The iphone is everywhere including in my purse. 2.Karma Exists: A story in the book about his biological father and how their paths crossed continues to cross my mind. 3.Keep Your Ego in Check; It Might Just Kill You: Steve’s journey with cancer may have taken a different route if he pursued the doctor’s recommendations. Easy for me to say, I know. Nevertheless, something to learn from. The author was a bit long winded and sometimes redundant but I wouldn’t let that sway you from learning about a man that has greatly influenced our time.
