BRINGING BACK THE ARK (REV. GODWIN ASI) The ark contained: 1. The staff of Aaron- representing the PRIESTHOOD. 2. The ten commandment- representing WORD. 3. Manna-representing DEVINE PROVISION. Because of sin, the Israelites were denied their PRIESTHOOD, THE WORD, and their DEVINE PROVISION. VERSE : 1 SAMUEL CHAPTER 4 vrs 1 going continuing from chapter 5 “The Philistines took the ark from Ebenezer to their city AShdod and took itinto the temple of their god Dagon and set it up beside his statue. Early next morning the people of Ashdod saw the statue of Dagon had fallen face down.” Who ever has taken your favour, who ever has taken your promotion, who ever has taken your riches, who ever has taken your marriage or the happiness of your marriage and any other thing should fall face down like Dagon. (I urge you to pray at this time) The Lord started torturing them and making them miserable so they met and advice them selves that the ark should not remain with them. when they could not contain the Ark, they decided to consult other gods. As they fight you and they are unable to penetrate they join their forces together, but there is great power abundant for Gods true children that the devil is unable to devour. When they were unable to contain the Ark and sent it to different towns and cities but they could not contain it they mentioned to take it back to Israel. I wish to inform you ‘The people who have tried you and denied you of your belongings, the time is due. All your hidden things would be returned to you and the Lord shall deal with them.
