BRODA WHY NOT DEFEAT THE DEVIL WITH LAUGHTER Psalm 126:2-3 - TopicsExpress

BRODA WHY NOT DEFEAT THE DEVIL WITH LAUGHTER Psalm 126:2-3 “Our mouths were filled with laughter, our tongues with songs of joy. Then it was said among the nations, “The Lord has done great things for them.” The Lord has done great things for us and we are filled with joy.” When satan wants you to cry and you laugh, you defeat him. You can be sick and yet when you are praying say, “Thank You, Jesus”. Today when we are sick, poor, facing setback, that situation dictates the direction of our prayer, “Heal me, bless me, give me breakthrough”. Satan does not want us to laugh, he does not want us to thank Jesus, he doesn’t want us to appreciate the blessing He has been giving us and he doesn’t want us to recognize the living Word of God. When Jesus was called to the situation of Lazarus, instead of him to say, ‘Lazarus, I deliver you’, he began to appreciate the Father saying, “Father, I thank You”. He did not allow the situation to dictate the direction of His prayer. This was how Jesus defeated satan because satan expected Jesus to join the people crying over him who died but rather His heart was full of thanksgiving. Jesus looked around and said, “Father, I thank You” and defeated satan and then entered into the realm and began to demand for the resurrection of Lazarus. So, you need to defeat satan first; when satan wants you to cry and you laugh you defeat him, then you can ask God whatever you want. Faith is expecting us to laugh. Therefore begin to laugh over your situation because Jesus has given us the victory; begin to appreciate the Father for what He has done, is doing and is about to do.
