BROTHER, MENTOR and FRIEND This is one man I will always live to remember, we have come to share similar experiences and challenges, Its so strong sometimes we are just about the only ones who know how to encourage ourselves by ourselves and for ourselves Some folks think he is canal but I tell you his spirituality is so profound the blind can see it I LOVE HIM SO MUCH Its countdown to 8 Solid Years and I dont regret I met him, times we ate from the same pot and slept on the same bed, Blessed Memories! YOU ARE ALWAYS ON MY MIND, bro! LESSONS FROM THE DRIVER Chukwudi Jesusboi Emeka, is one crazy person on the driver seat, of all I learnt from him, I never forget TWO, and here is one: As we drove that day, He said to me: Guy, I just dey catch rhema for this bus oo Hmm, Oya share the rhema na, make I begin write word Then he began; Did you notice that this Windscreen is bigger than my side mirror? Yea Then he continued: The reason it is so, I think it is so because because, in our journey towards destiny, where we are going to is bigger than where we are coming from Hmm was my reaction, and he continued; I dont need to look at my past mistakes and errors or even what is coming behind; all I need is a reflection of the past because this is a mirror and not a glass, but with the windscreen, which is glass, I can see farther away from where we are right now. Hence, what God wants for us is to keep the BIG PICTURE in view and the past experiences as only a reflection from time to time, Just to pick up some lessons Menh! That kept me dumb a while and it changed my life radically Secondly, I learnt from him: THE LESSON FROM THE WALL CLOCK I remember these were those days of depression, but depression days are gone! Well one of those days, I had complained to Emeka; we both went to bed, I woke later to see a text on my phone from him, which he said was a gift to me and it read thus; In a wall clock there are 3 hands; The SECOND hand, The MINUTE hand and The HOUR hand; In our lives the HOUR hand represents the big things we so desire, and amazingly that hand moves slowly and dependent upon the MINUTE hand which is symbolic of some other big things in our lives, though they might not be as big as those of the HOUR hand but surely they connect Then there is the SECOND hand which moves every now and then, but you see, we are always carried away by the stationary position of the other big hands, that we ignore the SECOND hand that keeps going round to make them all move That SECOND HAND symbolic of stuff like; the air we breath, cloths we put on, good health, etc Bro, this is my gift to you, brace up, there is life, if there is hope, Focus on the SECOND hand That was all I needed then! Today, This friend of mine marks another year Please, Join me and celebrate, A kingdom general, full of wisdom, and graced with unmerited favour My Brother, Mentor and Friend Chukwudi Jesusboi Emeka CEO, Yiseral Motivations I LOVE YOU
