BROTHERS! Let’s get our Endowment Challenge rolling! I’ve held off sending this out because I wanted y’all focused on Rush, but it’s time to take the training wheels off and get this going! This is going to be a primary goal for us in this Region, and we’ve created this challenge to get it started. We announced this at officer training, and already several chapters have jumped on board. In fact, Henderson State has already started taking advantage of the matching funds – Their collective donations of $176.16 has ballooned into $354.24 (Congrats to Catherine Belin Kennedy, T.J. Nichols, Joshua Jones, Brittney Steffens) We have a group of alumni that will match donations you source. o I will match the first $1500 in reoccurring donations made in the region. Once that’s gone, it’s gone. To avoid this being boring and someone kicking in $1500 right off the bat, I’ll cap it at $100 a gift. o This is across the region, not $1500 per chapter. I’m not making that kinda cash. Yet. o We have an anonymous alum that will add $10 to the first 25 FIRST time donors that donate at least $19.04 on an annual reoccurring basis. o Louisiana Chapters: Lea Goodwin will match the first $100 for each of you. o Auburn: Stephanie Potter will match the first $150, and is an incredible resource to put you in touch with other Alumni! o Tulane: Jonathan Stewart ($500) and Denise Eiser ($100) have pledged to match o Southern Miss: Kendrick Mosson and Larry L. Miller have kicked in $19.04 each to jump start your endowment. o To keep it balanced, Chapters must take advantage of their own alumni matching donations before I’ll match. I promise all $1500 will be given out (just in case everyone knocks it of the park with alumni that come out of the woodwork to match). Can’t have Tulane trying to run away with all the money here :) To start taking advantage of this: o Go to akpsi.org/give o Under Designation, choose “other” o In the blank, designate your chapter endowment: EG “Sigma Psi Chapter Endowment” o Select “one time gift” then type in the notes you’d like to make it an annual donation. o Email the conformation to me at [email protected] o I know this is manual, but hopefully our increased activity will improve the process!
