BROWN, Rev. Robert D. age 82 of Waynesville passed away Mon. May 26, 2014 at Kettering Hospital. Robert was a Korean Conflict Army veteran and retired from GM in 1988. He preached the gospel in the surrounding area for 46 years, 22 years of which were at the Pentecostal Temple Holiness Church in South Lebanon. He was a current member of the Free Holiness Church of God in Sharonville, where his son Rev. Randy Brown currently pastors. An avid pan fisherman, he loved church, his family, and to eat. He was preceded in death by one son Rodney Brown, his parents Rev. Roy and Annie Brown, two brothers Elmer and John Brown, and one sister Ora Lee McComas. He is survived by his wife of 60 years, Kathleen; two sons Raymond (Deborah) and Rev. Randy (Wendy) Brown; seven grandchildren Raymond Brown II, Renette (Tim) Back, Jeremy (Adrian) Brown, Rev. Ryan (Rebecca) Brown, Kyle Brown, Dustin Brown, and Maranda Brown; six great grandchildren Olyvia, Isaiah, Benjamin, Kaiden, Kennedy, and Brooklyn; daughter-in-law Carol Brown; three brothers Rev. James, Author (Enis), and Roger (Naomi) Brown; and one sister Shirley (Bill) Maddy. Funeral services 10 AM Sat. May 31 at the Pentecostal Temple Holiness Church, South Lebanon. Rev. Randy Brown, Rev. Ryan Brown, Rev. Bill Turner, Rev. Billy Conn, and Pastor J.R. Sargent officiating. Burial Miami Cemetery, Corwin. The family will receive friends 4-10 PM Fri. at the church. Stubbs-Conner Funeral Home, Waynesville is serving the family. If desired, contributions may be made to Free Holiness Church of God in Sharonville. Condolences at stubbsconner.
