BRTA wants the East West Consortium to adopt and incorporate the - TopicsExpress

BRTA wants the East West Consortium to adopt and incorporate the Northampton-Bedford arm into their current scheme of proposals as we can see a logic of Northampton adding impetus with any grand designs East of Bedford/Midland Main Line and vice versa; so both would be mutually benefitted as well as the Northampton-Bedford-Luton Airport/London alternative/West Coast capacity aids on the Thameslink North-South. There is some scope for Thameslink to work and do more with their St Pancras-Hertford Thameslink new direct link out of St Pancras Thameslink box Station, as with East Bedfordshire/East Coast Main Line - Bedford; the tie in of using the same tracks wherever they fall; would seem consistent and resource savvy? Any help to enhance that realisation, adoption and expedient acceptance for integrative projects, is to be welcomed by us. We are stretched currently human and funding resource-wise and so are seeking to call for plans to be tailored and these synergies to be brought forward at one and the same time. As I am sure you will appreciate; logic, politics and other theatres can be a fine art and sometimes somewhat nuanced by other considerations! brta-bedford.org.uk/html/bon-brackmills.html
