BRUTAL CARDIO WORKOUT OF THE WEEK: Just finished our live cardio class, its a regular saturday videoconferencing event we do at sweat4health. For those who want to do the same workouts we are doing, I will post them here so you can share our pain :) Its an hour cardio workout that you can do on a stationary bike, treadmill, or elliptical machine. Its easy to slack off on cardio in the winter but these weekly workouts will keep you in top form for springtime. Here was todays live workout: - 5 min warmup at about 60% of max - 10 min at 70% of max - 5 min at max - 8 minutes – 2min at max, 2 minute at 70%, repeat - 8 minutes – 1min at max, 1 minute at 70%, repeat - 3 minute at 70% - 70% of max to complete 60 min workout Goes without saying that any time you are doing intense workouts like this you should check with your physician first. If you are just getting started in fitness, this workout is too advanced and walking is recommended.
