BSF opens fire in Ramban, man killed Lastupdate at : Thu, 18 Jul 2013 13:43:18 IST SmallerDefaultLarger Srinagar: At least one person was killed and more than a dozen civilians sustained injuries when paramilitary BSF men allegedly opened fire on protesters at Dadam village of Gole Tehsil in Ramban district on Thursday. Reports said the BSF men of a local camp opened fire this morning to disperse a procession taken out to protest against an alleged sacrilege issue and beating of a local religious person, Qari Shabir Wednesday late evening. Hundreds of people had assembled on Srinagar- Jammu highway and had blocked it when this report was filed.
