BSNL BROAD BAND USAGE CHECKING There are 2 sites available for checking the BSNL BroadBand Usage.You can use any one of the 2 sites for checking the Usage.The 2 sites are 1.bbservice.bsnl.in/ 2.data.bsnl.in/wps/portal First Site: Im going to explain the steps to check your Broadband usage of the following site: bbservice.bsnl.in/ 1.When you click on this link ,it will go into Broadband Account Management page,where You have to Enter your Portal ID and Password in respective fields. 2.After entering the values on Portal ID and Password Field click Submit button. 3.It will go into UserAuthenticationController page where you can see the following options: My Profile MyOrder View Usage Change Password Signout 4.Click on View Usage,and now there is a Option available called Select the month which is having a drop down list box. 5.From the Drop Down list box,select the month which you want to see the broadband usage. 6.It will Display a table which is having 6 columns.But for the usage purposes check the datas under the following column in that table(This column will show the usage in KB.) , Chargable Units (KB) Excluding Night Unlimited 7.Click Sign Out for logging out of your account. Note: * Portal ID and password are important for viewing your usage .if u dont know your portal ID contact customer Care * This site will show the usage in KB. KB means Kilo Bytes. * Since BSNL normally calculating the free usages on GB,you have to know the Type conversions of KB to MB and MB to GB. 1MB=1024KB 1GB=1024MB For Example consider Your Account Usage shown in this Site as 1115567 KB,you have to convert this KB’s to MB’s.so you have to divide this value by 1024 so (1115567 KB/1024)=1089.40MB For calculating GB you have to again divide this found out MB value by 1024. so (1089.40MB/1024)=1.06GB. This type conversions you have to know for seeing your usage in GB using this site. Second Site: Im going to explain the steps to check your Broadband usage of the following site: data.bsnl.in/wps/portal 1.When you click on this link ,it will go into BSNL Portal page,where You have to Enter your Portal ID and Password in respective fields. 2.After entering the values on Portal ID and Password Field click Log in . 3.It will go into MyPortal where you can see the following options: My Profile My Orders My Services 4.Click on My Services and after clicking it you will see some mandatory fields under Usage Details.Fill those fields using Drop-Down list box.The 3 mandatory fields are given below: Service Name:* Account Number:* Usage Month:* where * represents Mandatory Fields. 5.After you have filled the mandatory fields click Search button for viewing your Broadband usage details. 6.It will Display a table which is having 8 columns.But for the usage purposes check the datas under the following column in that table(This column will show the usage in MB.) , Chargeable Units(MB) Excluding Night Unlimited 7.Click Logout at the Right side corner at the top of the page for logging out of your Account. NOTE: * Portal ID and password are important for viewing your usage .if u dont know your portal ID contact customer Care *This site will show the usage in MB. MB means Mega Bytes. * Since BSNL normally calculating the free usages on GB,you have to know the Type conversions MB to GB. 1GB=1024MB For Example consider Your Account Usage shown in this Site as 1089.40MB,you have to convert this MB’s to KB’s.so you have to divide this value by 1024 so (1089.40MB/1024)=1.06GB. This type conversions you have to know for seeing your usage in GB using this site. The tip/trick is that after end of every month try to check the usage using both the sites to verify your usage datas are equal or not.
