BSP warns of Hoax Text Messages Bank of South Pacific (BSP) warns its customers and the general public that there are Hoax SMS’ being circulated to random Mobile Phone numbers claiming that the receiver has won prize money through a BSP Promotion. In a statement, BSP’s Public Relations department advised that while these SMS may appear genuine, customers are advised that they are fraudulent and do not represent BSP nor any of its staff. BSP does NOT have any current Promotions or Competitions running. The bank also does not send SMS of winning prize monies or Top Up. Customers are advised that if they suspect that they have received a Hoax text message, the customer must not respond, either by calling or texting, and ignore it. To register the hoax, customers can email [email protected] for BSP to verify and investigate. Bank customer can also contact its Customer Service Centre on: 320 1212 or 7030 1212 or email: [email protected] for assistance or enquiries.
