BSS Sr.Engineer أمنية - عمان, الأردن الوصف الوظيفي Job purpose Responsible for planning and dimensioning BSS network resources for 2G/3G technologies in terms of hardware, software, licenses, reports analysis, and coordinating with vendors to maintain BSS entities, network KPI’s and provide needed technical support for the BSS network elements. Design the BSS network elements Set BSS network element plan depend on RF data received Measure the capacity load on each BSS elements Provide the core network team with the capacity load of the BSS elements Control and balance the distribution of the network traffic on each controller “BSC, RNC” Analyze and follow up the network BSS capacity issues Upgrade/downgrade the BSS capacity elements according to the network performance reports Coordinate with the vendors on software’s licenses upgrade and hardware’s expansion based on the network traffic growth and prediction Provide troubleshooting and maintenance for the BSS elements Provide level 1 and 2 troubleshooting for the BSC, RNC, ITC “Controllers” and control its’ spare parts Provide level 2 troubleshooting for the BTS “sites” in coordination with transmission team Rise red flags and issue tickets with the vendors for level 3 troubleshooting and follow up accordingly Maintain the operation and maintenance center “OMC” and provide the technical support Handle major operations of the BSS elements Lead the software upgrades of the BSS elements and inform the other related division Configure the hardware/software for each new BTS element “commissioning” Check the installation of the controllers elements المهارات Knowledge Of: telecom engineering principles, 2G and 3G technologies Skills In: o MS office applications o Resource Allocation and Budgeting o Project Reporting o Network Equipment Maintenance o Network platforms planning (scaling, HW selection, interfaces etc.) o Network quality standards and benchmarks o Fault analysis and correlation techniques o Disaster recovery and contingency planning o Maintaining Network Inventory systems o Risk assessment techniques الخلفية التعليمية Bachelor Degree in Communications, Electrical Engineering or any related fields bayt/…/job/bss-sr-engineer-in-jordan-3188663/
