BUDDY is the perfect houseguest! He asks permission to go outside, but is super happy when the doggy door is available for his use, as he enjoys being able to come and go as he pleases. At three years old, this border collie mix was surrendered because he has always had freedom to roam the neighborhood and his family is moving to a location where there are confinement laws. They worry about Buddys safety in that type of neighborhood. So ... he joined the foster home crew and is doing well so far! Buddy tested slight positive for heartworms, so we have started him on the slow kill HW treatment. However, because he is so awesome, we want to get him going on the aggressive treatment, and get those pesky potential killers gone! We do love him, for sure!
