BUFFALO SPONGE ALERT!!! Sorry to all for the last minute notice but tonight on QVCs highest rated show, In the Kitchen with Dave, Platters Chocolates Sponge Candy will be one of the 4 featured Buffalo Treasures. Tonights show is being filmed LIVE from the Buffalo Naval Park at 8 pm. It is the last leg of Daves military tour. In every city, the show picks out culinary specialties the area is known for. For the Buffalo show, Teds Hot Dogs, Charlie the Butcher, The Anchor Bar (of course) AND Sponge Candy from PLATTERS CHOCOLATES! The film crew (just terrific guys) took one and a half hours of footage for just a 25 second segment BUT the quality and attention to detail is first class. Were not sure when on the show we will be featured so if you cant make it, set your DVRs. Im told that we will be able to get the entire footage for our web site, Utube, etc. Were proud to be one of the many WNYs treasures and flattered to be selected.
