BUHARI - THE GRAVE DANGERS OF ELECTING HIM (Part 1) HIS RUTHLESS FULANI ETHNIC, RELIGIOUS & MILITARY BACKGROUNDS THE MUSLIM NORTH NEEDS TO BE POWERLESS TO APPRECIATE POWER LET’S FREE FULANIS FROM IDOLATROUS WORSHIP OF POWER BUHARI - THE GRAVEDANGERS OF ELECTING HIM (Part 1) HIS RUTHLESS FULANIETHNIC, RELIGIOUS & MILITARY BACKGROUNDSTHE MUSLIM NORTH NEEDSTO BE POWERLESS TO APPRECIATE POWERLET’S FREE FULANIS FROM IDOLATROUS WORSHIP OF POWER By Patriot CHIKE OFILISUMMARY &the firstpart of the promised textCHIKE OFILI concludes in this very revealing piece that: avote for Buhari, is a vote for the orientation that shaped him – a domineeringand dominating Fulani ethnic culture, his Arab influenced brand of FulaniIslam, and his military training of domination coupled with being a deeplyinjured and wounded man from his electoral and court losses. Military Generalsin general do not forgive. Their training makes them so; as was the case withGeneral OlusegunObasanjo and all of his eight years democratic setbacks. Inaddition to Buhari coming from a group and region with the lowest mark inNigeria’s development indices: the educational, medical, political, economic, and scientific; they are behind on all counts. Charity should begin at home indetermining the meritorious leadership of Nigeria. Shouldn’t some acceptablemeasure of advance success on regional development basis rightly produce theaxis of leadership if merit were to be the yardstick; and not leadershipsthrown up by unfair and unacceptable elections? Or illegitimate subversion andcomplete disregard of the guiding rule that protects us all – the Nigerianconstitution through a military coup from which un-merited favours are givenone group, one region over the others which a vote for Buhari will beencouraging and dangerously hardening.  This tripartite conquering forces of ruthless ethnic, religious and military backgrounds in one man from the part of the country withthe lowest development evidences can only be terribly frightening in itsconsequences when surrounded by his own kind in a government they would calltheirs. Besides, the Fulani are in dire need of rescue from idolatrous hungerand worship of power that only powerlessness can change for better appreciationof the proper uses of power. All of the stated reasons are totally incompatible withdemocracy. They provide no good and appropriate background for a democracy thatis based on well-argued and negotiated benefits in reciprocal give and take. However selfishly my dear Buhari is dubiously presented and projected by Yorubavocal chords seeking to take a well-sheathed advantage of an aging man for theirson, the V/vice. Patriot CHIKE OFILI wasa voluntary Campaigner for BUHARI in 2011 until he came to know Fulani politicsbetter from History and Observeable Patterns READER, BELOW IS THEFIRST PART OF THE PROMISED FULL TEXT.PREAMBLEKaburaZakama, unlike many illiterate northern responses to mypieces of writing which do not rise beyond abuses and shielded and sheathedsilences for lack of a proper reply, you deserve my reply.  So, first, Zakama, I thank you for reading meand going to this length to reply me. You virtually wrote more than I did inyour reply. I will forgive your rude aside on drama which bears no evidencewhatsoever in my piece because in general you have shown basic respect in yourresponse. My friend Abdulrahman Ahmed Albushra has conveniently hidden behindyour back to do the rankadede in praise of you to achieve a retaliation hecould not provide. He was to follow up later with threatening with digging myfinger in the hole of a cobra; to which I reminded him that the cobra has begunconsuming its owner. We made up.. As for my dear Raznat Mohammed who thinksshe has not seen the kind of sympathy expected from the northern tragedy in theNorth and North East in particular, I have already admitted that I sympathisewith the victims of Islam inspired Boko Haram but that the North’s tearless andtear-free eyes have benumbed me and the South from shedding adequate tears. The case of the North is indeed the case of a household blaming the firefighters for the fire they brought upon themselves. And that if the APCGovernor of Borno could secretly go collect nomination form for re-election andthe northern leadership choosing to be more vocal about elections taking placein the Islamist insurgent parts of the North than the carnage and calamitieswrought there, why shouldn’t President Jonathan? She saw with me. I however told her that after thisunfortunate tragedy, the North would learn like never before to value humanlives and would stop taking Igbo lives at will that prepared and rehearsed themfor their own self-affliction. An affliction President Jonathan might haveoverlook as either self-fulfillment of their promise to make his governmentungovernable with the blood of dogs and baboons. And from remembering how undernorthern leadership of Nigeria, his peoples’ only means of livelihood, fishing, was disastrously wrecked  with much crudebehavior towards oil exploration. It would seem too that the tide has turnedagainst President Jonathan for turning his back on the tragic situation whichis about to cost him his well-deserved electoral victory by performance. TheAPC combined forces held together by grudge and hate has turned the Boko Haramtragedy into a well-schemed American imported political communication that hastaught their chieftains and spokespersons to make a singsong of two untruewords CORRUPT and INCOMPETENT; turning the heart of the people unjustly againsta most bullied and blackmailed gentle President Goodluck Jonathan. This articleis however about the very grave danger of electing the president’s majoropponent, General MuhammaduBuhari. HERE IS MY KIND REPLY on Buhari.THE BUHARI AND SAMBOCERTIFICATE SHAME: QUESTION BEGGING FOR ANANSWER FROMFULANI CHILDREN OFUN-MERITED PRIVILEGEOn my General MuhammaduBuhari, the Presidential aspirant ofthe APC and Vice President NamadiSambo of PDP;s certificates show of shamewhich I still insist is the consequence of the northern policy of privilegewithout merit which they give themselves alone in the access to, and occupationof professional and political positions. They even go as far as sackingsuperiors in order to impose junior and inferior Hausa-Fulani officers in theMinistries and Parastatals of government when they were ruthlessly in power.NTA our national TV and the Nigeria military tell part of these stories. Itis their false sense of superiority acquired through theirjihadist-political-Islam and hardened by the British Lord-less FrederickLugard’s preference of them to other northerner Nigerians of his initial reign, and later other parts of Nigeria of his general domination. Lugard deliberatelydesigned them for ascendancy over all in his philosophy of them as BORN TO RULEcan be held most liable and culpable. For this, Dr. NnamdiAzikiwe a PhD holder from HowardUniversity, America, was in the early 1960s forced by the superior Britishmilitary officer still serving under post-independence Nigeria to forcefullysurrender to a less qualified Sir AbubarkarTafawaBalewa without a universityeducation; though a brilliant man after a most unacceptable election. ChiefAwolowo a London trained lawyer during the 1967-1970 civil war, served under asecondary school leaver whose certificate we may wish to verify, a militarytrained General Yakubu Gowon, an Ngas northern Christian from the Middle belt.Former President SheuShagari, a Fulani and an NCE or Teacher trainingcertificate holder was in the 1980s under the National Peoples Party, NPN madeto be president over a PhD Vice President, Dr. Alex Ekwueme, an Igbo. In 2015, a YorubaProfessor of Law is being made to be Vice Presidential candidate to GeneralMuhammaduBuhari, a man without a verifiable school certificate. Yet for hismany presidential attempts, his fellow Fulani, Professor AthairuJega looked theother way as they are culturally used to doing; he granted him a waver againstmerit. He even falsely claims that the examining body INEC has no power to failor pass its candidates that it superintends over. Yet he will not go to courtfor clarity. Jega knows the ruthless treatments of his culture if he dared todo the right thing. And Buhari and APC go about campaigning as if nothing iswrong. Just when the Fulani records appeared improved in ‘’architectNamadiSambo, the Vice President and VP candidate, we hearing that fire haseaten up his certificate. This is not to insist that certificates or even education isthe ultimate mark of leadership; far from it. In fact this could be called thelitmus test between the Certificated and the Experienced. After all, GeneralHassan Katsina, former military Governor of the old Northern Nigeria, at theofficial historical documentation of Nigeria under General Ibrahim Babangida, expressed disappointment in the little worth of Professors based on hismilitary experience with them in government. But the golden rule here whichmust never be allowed to be subverted is that the Nigerian Constitutiondemands a minimum requirement of a secondary school certificate which Buharicannot provide. The law says attach your certificate. For the same reason thatwithout INEC voters card you cannot vote.Without a qualifying certificate,Buhari stands disqualified. If ever he wins from disregarding constitutionalrequirements as he did by suspending the Nigerian Constitution as a militarycoupist and his refusal to appear before a legally constituted Human RightsViolation Panel better known as Oputa Panel, he and his party should never beallowed to suspend the demands of the constitution in another diregard. Or hewould have to rule Nigeria as a military returnee and not a President of aconstitutional democracy that Nigeria recognises. AS WITH OBASANJO ABENEFICIARY OF THE CHILDREN OFPRIVILEGE WITHCONSEQUENCE SO WILL IT BE WITH BUHARIJust as General OlusegunObasanjo could not meet thequalifying requirement for contesting the 1999 presidential election of winninghis local government as required by the guiding law. The combined military andcivilian forces of the Muslim North did all to subvert the rule just so that Dr.Alex Ekwueme, an Igbo and prime founder of the PDP would not emerge for fear ofbringing the northern military coupist to book; and to make them vomit all theunfair advantages they gave their North that has till date given them statesand local government advantages above others, deliberately slanting things intheir favour in order to have dubious and unmerited advantage over the Southfrom the former equal footing they all were before their military misrule. These stolen extra states and local governments havetranslated into giving them the majority in the Lower House of the nationalAssembly which they use to hold the rest of Nigeria to ransom. This explainsthe betraying behavior of WaziriTambuwal, the PDP Speaker of the House thatstole the place of the Yoruba in order to perpetuate Fulani self-givenadvantage by the gun. By calculatedly choosing to destroy the PDP, he is nowtransferring his stolen certificate of occupancy of the Lower House, replacingit with a regionally assertive Fulani Deed of Right with his Sokoto Caliphatesupporting him and his All Progressive Congress to keep the rest of the nationunder their Fulani rule of unqualified, un-merited and un-competed domination. Tragic history is about to happen again as Obasanjo became toNigerian  democracy; setting it back insomersaulting democratic retardedness. Having so completely failed to qualifyto win his local government, he could not also win his ward. He even failed towin the polling booth in front of his house. Yet Hausa-Fulani forces partly ledby AlhajiAtikuAbubarkar inheriting the Fulani political machinery of the Fulanipolitical strategist, General Musa Yaradua senior, and Chief Solomon Larimposed him on the too gentlemanly Alex Ekwueme who refused to blow their coverbecause he did not want to give the military any excuse of staying further tohis own defeat which he did not contest even contest in the court of law; justso that peace may reign – he sacrificed himself. They were to all pay for theirdecisions. Atiku is still paying. So did I too, regretfully for supportingObasanjo who turned governance into a season of vengeance. I have since come torecognize the monumental loss in squandering what might have been the greatrule of education mixed with experience in governance and social mobilizationof G-34 against General Abacha’s dictatorship that became the People’sDemocratic Party, PDP by a quiet achiever with five degrees across discipleswho did not need to be in the academia, a conceptualizing thinker and architectthat gave Nigeria the irresistible idea of a six geo-political zones, Dr. AlexEkwueme. Dr. Ekwueme’s five different degrees across disciplines weregot before and after power. General Yakubu Gowon left back to school afterpower. So did General OlusegunObasanjo. But not so for the children ofprivilege. They never see a need to self-improve and upgrade because privilegedoes not require merit and standard. It confers a right from high level socialwirings in the society. That is why our Fulani leaders from AlhajiSheuShagarito General MuhammaduBuhari and the two Yaradua brothers have never thought itnecessary to return to school. Privilege will always take the place of meritand performance; so why bother!Yet Fulani politics insists on lording it over its betters? And insists on it continuing or the country will be made ungovernable with theblood of dogs and baboons to combine the combined threats of AtikuAbubarkar andMuhammaduBuhari. THE FULANI RUTHLESSRULE OF ENGAGEMENT WITH OTHERSThis same Fulani rule of engagement dates back to the waythey treated their Hausa/Habe hosts when they migrated late and last intoNigeria, dominating their hosts through Islamist Jihad in the 19thcentury that is playing out again today in the 21st century in theway Boko Haram is violently caliphating parts of Nigeria the same way a Fulaniman, Uthman Dan Fodio’s political Islam Jihadists, the BokoHaramers and IslamicState of the 19th century. After running over Hausa land of today’sNorth West of Nigeria, they tried to take over the good old Islamic Borno ofthe Kanuris whose contact with Islam dates back to the 10th century. When they arrived with their own Islam as late as the 19th century, this longest empire stoutly resisted them under the very able leadership ofEl-Kanemi, a Borno half-brother, outsider-defender and later ruler thatestablished his own dynasty outside the original Sefewa dynasty. It is a bigtragedy of history that the same great Borno of old Africa, Nigeria’s empirewith the longest recorded written history in Arabic language and the earliestto be exposed to the Arabic and European worlds that is now the one on anIslamic mission of enthroned illiteracy. Had Nigeria the original Islam that came in through Borno andnot the one brought by some Senegalese migrating Fulanis through thepolitically ambitious agency of UthmandanFodio, Nigeria would have beenreligiously at peace as it was before they came into the north and as Islam wasand is in Yoruba land.It is this Arab influenced Islam of the Fulanis that the North West got throughroving Fulani scholars that their dubious historians claim came through Maliantraders without influences from centuries of their neighbours’ Islam in Borno. This was how they plagued the peace of the Nigerian geography with politicalIslam they called a Jihad that brought about a big Caliphate with all thehijacking and plundering of palaces and shrines that they substitutedthemselves only with, perpetuating stolen power till this day with their emirsand emirates. They threatened Borno in the North East and the Northern Yorubaof the Ilorin axis in the North-South falsely described as North Central; andthe other Yoruba in the South-West of what later became Nigeria. The peace of the geographical space that became Nigeria wasshattered like never before since the arrival of Fulani Muslims with theirterritorial conquests and vision of nation building which has not changed tilldate. Take aclose look at your villages and towns for their creeping incursion. This Fulanirule of domination is what post-independent Nigeria is still suffering from. At the socio-economic level, Fulani rule, the longest rule byany singular ethnic group has never lifted Nigeria. They have not showncapacity to lift themselves ethnically, regionally and most certainly,nationally.. Since pre-independence Nigeria till date, their economiccontribution to colonial British and Nigeria’s own Nigeria remains the lowest. On all developmental indices, medical, political, economic, and scientific theyare behind on all count. It would have been thought that some acceptablemeasure of advance success on regional development basis would rightly producethe axis of leadership if merit were to be the yardstick; and not leadershipsthrown up by unfair elections and illegitimate subversion and completedisregard of the guiding rule that protects us all – the Nigerian constitutionthrough a military coup with which un-merited favours is given one group, oneregion over the others.  FREE BUHARI FROM YOURVOTESo a vote for Buhari, is a vote for the orientation thatshaped him – a domineering and dominating ethnic culture, his Arab influencedbrand of Fulani Islam and his military training of domination coupled withbeing a deeply injured man from his electoral losses as Generals in general donot forgive.
