BUHARI REPRESENTS THE PAST I read a recent interview in Vanguard. Great-grand-pa Buhari was asked how he intends to improve the economy if he becomes President. His response was: Vote out fDf, make me fresident, and corruption would end, and the economy would boom... I will stabilize oil frice. Stabilize oil price? Maybe, the great-grand-fathers extreme old age, and acute rheumatic pains have greatly dulled his understanding (if at all he had any) of simple economics, and the determinants/workings of the international oil market/priceing. Nigerian youths, can great-grand-pa Buhari lead a modern Nigeria? To my mind, he is bereft of the competence, drive, zeal, energy, charm charisma and enthusiasm to be a 21st century leader of (to borrow Buharis manner of speaking) our dear kwantry Naijeria Whay say you?
