Viridian Energy Co-operative has been offered 700 solar panels at a great price but we need to buy all 700. We cant commit to this offer unless we get some firm commitments from people who have expressed an interest in the program. These are Canadian Solar products, they are made in China to Canadian Solar specs. Canadian Solar carries the warranty so we dont have to deal with China over warranties. This offer is only available until Friday Sept. 5 after that the supplier will make the equipment available to other distributors and contractors. Here are some options: 1) who can verbally commit to a discounted bulk purchase this week - price is 72 cents per watt . We would need to full payment up front. Delivery would be approx 2 weeks. Install would happen this Fall. 2) who can verbally commit to a bulk buy within 6 months - price is 79 cents per watt (this increase covers our financing and storage). This would require a $1,000 deposit. 3) who can offer to help finance this one time discounted purchase of 700 panels - we are thinking of 5% interest over 6 months for your loan. NORMAL 25 year WARRANTY with Canadian Solar - panels made in China. Each panel is 235 watts PLEASE RESPOND WITH YOUR CHOICE ABOVE AND HOW MANY PANELS YOU WANT. We MUST HAVE IDEA OF HOW MANY ORDERS ARE OUT THERE BEFORE WE RISK THIS PURCHASE. I know this is short notice and you may need some time to think about it.
