BULLETS, AIRTEL MALAWI IN SPONSORSHIP DEAL: Airtel Malawi, one of the mobile phone network providers, has offered to sponsor champions Big Bullets in the in the CAF Champions League. The People’s Team needs about K180 million for its continental club showpiece task. Bullets and Airtel are reported to have signed the dotted lines of their sponsorship deal said to be in the region of K150 million. The club’s General Secretary Harlod Fote kept his cards close to the chest, saying they will hold a news conference. Bullets chairperson Kondi Msungama said the club was in talks with other potential sponsors, but could not divulge names for fear of jeopardising prospective deals. Another mobile phone network provider TNM, sponsors of the flagship football league, disclosed that they are finalising a sponsorship package for Bullets.
