BURN Fitness 101: Whats the MOST important SINGLE tip I can give someone nutritionally to meet their fitness goals? Thats an easy one... PREPARE YOUR FOOD! Lisa and I got home late TONIGHT, after 8pm, after doing (of all things) a nutrition consultation. And we practiced what we preach! What did I have for dinner? 10 oz Grilled Chicken Breast 1 Cup Brown Rice 1 Cup Red/Yellow/Green Peppers and Onions 2 Tbsp Feta Cheese Hot Sauce. Prep time? 3 minutes! I was sitting and eating 15 minutes after getting home! How??? I grilled NINE 10oz chicken breasts (Sams Club) Sunday night, split them into 3 plastic tubs, and froze 2 tubs... precooked. (6.5 lb of chicken) I cooked 6 cups of brown rice in a rice cooker Sunday also. Yesterday morning for/during breakfast, I stir-fried enough peppers and onions (in Pam) for 3-4 meals. Tonight we got home and made up a plate from our prepared food, nuked it... and ATE. (Lisa had grilled chicken, 1/2 an avocado, feta cheese, and sliced strawberries.) Eating CLEAN, high-protein, low sugar meals 80+% of the time is the MOST important single thing you can do to get/stay lean. If that 80% of your food is already cooked and waiting for you 24X7 in your fridge... Its EASY! If youre coming home to an empty fridge, or a fridge full of raw food at 8pm? Youre screwed...
