BUSHFIRE ADVICE MESSAGE : BILLIATT Time Message Issued: 16:06 26/01/2014 The CFS advises that a fire at BILLIATT is causing smoke to be visible in the South eastern corner of the park. CFS and DEWNER crews are back burnign along Huckels Road to secure control ines ahead of the predicted hot weather in the coming days. Large amounts of smoke will be visible in the Billiatt, Lameroo, Renmark, Berri and Waikerie areas. While this fire does not present any threat to people in the Billiatt, Lameroo, Renmark, Berri and Waikerie areas, people in the affected area are advised to close all doors and windows and stay indoors if you suffer from any respiratory or cardiac conditions. Road users are advised to use caution on the roads as smoke may reduce visibility. Stay tuned to this radio station on a battery-powered radio for updates.
