BUSHFIRE ADVICE MESSAGE : SELLICKS HILL Time Message Issued: 20:57, 08/12/2014 The CFS is currently monitoring a fire near SELLICKS HILL. CFS advises that a bushfire at Sellicks Hill in the Fleurieu Peninsula near Mount Terrible Road and Louds Road may threaten your property. The SELLICKS HILL bushfire is travelling in a North Westerly direction toward Plains Road, Chaff Mill Road, Culley Road and Rogers Road. The uncontrolled fire is burning in scrub. There is a large number of fire appliances in the area overnight. There is a large amount of smoke restricting visibility. Drivers in the area are to proceed with caution. Check your Bushfire Survival Plan and prepare for a bushfire in your area. If your plan is to leave or you are unprepared, leave now. Only leave if the path is clear to safe place. Well prepared and activity defended homes can offer safety. You should not enter this area as the roads may not be safe. Stay tuned to this radio station on a battery-powered radio for updates.
