BUSINESS NEWS; Leader of the Great Consolidated Popular Party is predicting positive investment future for the country if Ghanaians conduct themselves well after the Supreme Court ruling on the election petition. Dr. Henry Lartey says though the current test period has brought challenges to the country, improved investor confidence after the process would be beneficial. The recent security alert by the U.S Embassy to American citizens in Ghana ahead of the court judgment raised concerns of mistrust especially among the business community. However, Mr. Lartey believes prospects are good for the country. At a peace conference of GCPP members in Kumasi, Mr. Lartey recalled how Ghana has managed to recover from the many military take overs and the 1983 famine. He says what is critical is for Ghanaians to demonstrate maturity to prove to the world Ghana has the best democracy in Africa.
