BUSINESS vs JOB A profession where one is engaged in commercial activity of goods or services, it is called BUSINESS. On the other hand, JOB is the commitment to perform a function on routine basis for a fixed payment. BUSINESS VS. JOB - A Comparison •In Business, the owner has the chance to earn more with some extra effort but in Job the employee has a limitation in earning, which cannot exceed his salary. •The ...entrepreneur can take decisions of his own but employee has to take permission from the boss. * In Business, you can enjoy your time but in Job, your time is your employers time. * A business owner enjoys his income better than a salaried person because businessmen pay Income tax after paying for all expenses, but an employee has to pay tax first then with spare money, he has to manage the expenses. •A business requires investment at start up, and the initial return may not be very promising but in job, the income starts from very first day and it is quite consistent. •Businessmen can take leverage of his assets to excel the growth whereas an employee cannot enjoy such leverage. Every work needs dedication, vision and hard work for consistent growth. At the end, I would suggest business over the job on financial basis. Why? BUSINESS is more secured, however in business theres always ups and downs; but, theres always a 2nd chance on doing it also. JOB has no security in terms of financial leverage. What if your company got bankrupt? What if you got fired? Youre going to start again and find a new one which it is so hard to look for one nowadays because of competitions to other job seekers.
