BUSY BAR & RESTAURANT SW6 LOOKING FOR FULL-TIME & PART-TIME STAFF SW6, London Apply online Contract type Permanent The Duke on the Green is a Busy and Vibrant Bar and Restaurant in SW6 situated on Parsons Green. We take great pride in our Beers, wines and bespoke Menu. Our clients range from young professionals to families and regulars. Our busiest trading times are in the evening with many people coming to celebrate birthdays. Although we do have a busy lunch trade on Sundays. We want our customers to feel relaxed so our main focus is on the friendly, efficient service we give. We currently have two available positions: Bar Staff (Full-time) Your duties will mainly include, Beer and wine knowledge, serving drinks, dispensing drinks, polishing glasses, re-stocking fridges, cleaning the bar. Waiting Staff (Full-time) Your main duties will include, having full knowledge of the menu and wine lists, taking orders, clearing plates, cleaning, polishing cutlery, meeting and greeting. It is very important to us in both of these roles that you have a positive and friendly attitude towards all customers and are tolerant and compliant in every situation. We want our customers to feel welcome and comfortable at The Duke on the Green, so they will return to us in the future. We want people who are confident and who show initiative. Experience is preferable, but we are happy to look at any CV. We will need all applicants to be over 18 and eligible to work in the UK. You will be paid £6.19 p/h negotiable regardless of your age plus you will receive a share of the service charge that you accumulate. Full-time staff will be expected to work an average of 40 hours a week, and a fair share of busy shifts. Part-time staff with be expected to work a few shifts a week mostly over the weekend. You will receive 28 days paid holiday per year, less for part-time. All Youngs staff receives 20% off at other Youngs pubs as well as your own.
