BUYER BEWARE: Today at Brickbat Books in Philadelphia, Gabi & I picked up what we assumed was an original Joe Jones art book, Solar Music Tent, released in an addition of 10, hand-signed copies. It was not until we returned home that we discovered it was a 2001 facsimile released in an edition of 25. To be noted, Joe Jones passed away in 1993 and obviously could not have signed this edition, which also comes with a proprinted cd in place of the original cassette of the Solar Music Tent recording. This facsimile was sold to us as an original and as such was sold to us at that price. Quite frankly, this is greatly disappointing and leaves a bad taste in my mouth regarding that particular book store.
