BWS What do you think that stands for? A term that not many know or learn about. These three letters are actually a lot more influential than you may imagine, but are not mentioned as relics of times passed. You probably didnt know that once upon a time in this great land that we call our country there was a place where BLACKS THRIVED and became the pioneers of their own success. A place where successful, like minded individuals were grouped together in efforts to build a sustainable infrastructure that defied the times they lived in, and exuded excellence from our people. BWS stands for BLACK WALL STREET. Whats that you say? Well its nothing now, because it was burnt down, bombed, and dismantled at the hands of jealous white Americans who hated seeing thousands of blacks being excellent and well-to-do. Imagine living in a suburban neighborhood where everyone looks like you, and are African American. Imagine leaving your home to the sounds of explosions, and seeing fires, and rampage, chaos and death at the hands of not necessarily racist ideas, rather pure jealousy. 3,000 people murdered, 1,500 homes burnt to the ground, a community of thriving black people dismembered and dismantled all because white people hated seeing them win within. You cannot wonder why we are he way we are, and why we supposedly hate ourselves when you hate us more than we could ever hate each other. THERE SHOULD BE A BLACK WALL STREET in every state, and every city in America by now. But we dont even understand nor do we know what we are capable of doing. Look it up Facebook.
