(Thanks, Richard Wilde) Gay mafias are merely groups of arrogant, manipulative gay men and women whose talents for controlling others exceeds their talent for actually accomplishing anything that I could consider honorable. They are of one narrow mindset and see anything different from their group-view as a slap in the face at gays in general. These gay Mafioso thrive on victimhood, blame and vengeance. Their world is not one of dialog, communication and basic human respect. Their world consists of pandering to the insecurities of their fellows and slandering and destroying anyone who gets in their way. They are fundamentally dishonest -- both ethically and intellectually. They are the bottom of the bucket of humankind. Unfortunately, many of them find positions of power and prestige as gay rights activists. Sad and scary. Brendan Eich should have never been pressured to step down. His assent to a high position at Mozilla could have been a great teaching moment both for him and for we gays. It is sad that he will never be given the opportunity to work alongside gays at Mozilla and that both gays and Mr. Eich will be denied the opportunity to leave their fears behind and embrace each other in way that might have become something other than contentious. Then again, most gay activists dont want dialog. They prefer the dictatorship of their message because it gives them the feeling of immense power and vengeance. No wonder a new backlash against us has started. People get tired of being attacked and belittled just as we had been tired of being attacked and belittled. We have a long way to go to convince America and the world that we are not substantively a threat to anyone. However, as long as many of us proceed down the road of self-righteous perfection, we shall encounter resistance by those who see us merely as men and women behind a lavender curtain of deceit who want to destroy our nations cultural values instead of contributing to them. We have a great opportunity to bring healing, peace and equality to others and to our country. The GLBT Mafioso types would prefer that the gay rights struggle continues so that they may claim some eventual victory -- a victory of egos for the rightness of their cause, but not a true, lasting victory for the cause of human rights for all. Its something to think about.
