BY: TAHIR MASTOI SU QEC stands top in HEC ranking with 90.33% score. Quality Assurance Agency (QAA) of Higher Education Commission (HEC) has given top position in ranking to Sindh University (SU) Quality Enhancement Cell (QEC) on obtaining 90.33% score after assessing the progress of the Quality Enhancement Cells established in the public/ private sector universities through quantitative/ scorecard system. This was stated by Dr. Mohammad Rafiq Baloch, the Director General of HEC’s Quality Assurance Agency in his letter addressed to the vice chancellor Prof. Dr. Nazir A. Mughal. He further said that QEC at Sindh University obtained total score of 90.33% for the period ending June 30, 2013 and gained “W” category. Dr. Baloch appreciated the dynamic leadership of Dr. Mughal and said the performance of the QEC in his university was progressing in a well-organized manner.
