He makes me lie down in green pastures, He leads me beside quiet waters, He restores my soul. He guides me in paths of righteousness for His Name sake. Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil, for You are with me, Your rod and Your staff, they comfort me. You prepare the table before me in the presence of my enemies. You anoint my head with oil, my cup overflows. Surely goodness and love will follow me all the days of my life, and I will dwell in the House of the Lord. - THE PEOPLE OF ISRAEL ONCE YOU ARE CLEANSED: Ezekiel 36:22-27 Therefore say to the house of Israel: This is what the Sovereign Lord says: It is not for your sake, o house of Israel, that I am going to do these things, but for the sake of My Holy Name, which you have profaned among the nations where you have gone. I will show the Holiness of My Great Name, which has been profaned among the nations, the name you have profaned among them. Then the nations will know that I am Lord, declares the Sovereign Lord, when I show Myself Holy through you before their eyes. For I will take you out of the nations, I will gather you from all the countries and bring you back into your own land. I will sprinkle clean water on you, and you will be clean. I will cleanse you from all your iniquities and from all your idols. I will give you a new heart and put a new Spirit in you. I will remove from you your heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh. And I will put My Spirit in you and move you to follow My decrees and be careful to keep My Laws. Ezekiel 36:39 This is what the Sovereign Lord says: On the day I cleanse you from all your sins. I will resettle your towns, and the ruins will be rebuilt. The desolate land will be cultivated instead of lying desolate in the sight of all who pass through it. - JUSTICE AND MERCY Haggai 7:8- And the Word of the Lord came to Zechariah, This is what the Lord Almighty says: Administer true justice, show mercy and compassion to one another. Do not oppress the widow or the fatherless, the alien or the poor. In your hearts do not think evil of each other. But they refused to pay attention, stubbornly they turned their backs and stopped up their ears. They made their hearts as hard as flint and would not listen to the Law or to the Words that the Lord Almighty had sent by his Spirit through the earlier prophets. So the Lord Almighty was very angry. When I called, they did not listen, so when they called, I would not listen, says the Lord Almighty. I scattered them with a whirlwind among all the nations, where they were strangers. The land was left desolate behind them that no one could come or go. This is how they made the pleasant land desolate. Matthew 9:9-13 As Jesus went from there, he saw a man named Matthew sitting at the tax collectors boot. Follow me, he told him, and Matthew got up and followed Him. While Jesus was having dinner at Matthews house, many tax collectors and sinners came and ate with Him and His disciples. When the Pharisees saw that, they asked His disciples, Why does your teacher eat with tax collectors and sinners? On hearing this, Jesus said, It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. But go and learn what this means. I desire mercy and not sacrifice. For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners. * IN THE VALLEY OF THE DRY BONES: THESE BONES ARE THE WHOLE HOUSE OF ISRAEL. Ezekiel 37:11-14 Then He said to me: Son of man, these bones are the whole house of Israel. They say, Our bones are dried up and our hope is gone; we are cut off. Therefore prophesy and say to them: This is what the Sovereign Lord says: O My people, I am going to open your graves and bring you up from them; I will bring you back to the land of Israel. Then you, My people will know that I am the Lord, when I open your graves and bring you up from them. I will put My Spirit in you and you will live, and I will settle you in your land. Then you will know that I the Lord have spoken, and I have done it, declares the Lord. * AND JESUS CALLED: REPENT OR PERISH Isaiah 52:13-15 See, My servant will act wisely, He will be raised and lifted up and highly exalted. Just as there were many who were appalled at Him; His appearance was so disfigured beyond that of any man and His form marred beyond human likeness - so will He sprinkle many nations and kings will shut their mouths because of him. FOR WHAT THEY WERE NOT TOLD, THEY WILL SEE AND WHAT THEY HAVE NOT HEARD, THEY WILL UNDERSTAND. Isaiah 59:1-2 Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor His ear too dull to hear! But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear. Hosea 14:1-2 Return o Israel to the Lord your God. Your sins have been your downfall. Take words with you and return to the Lord. Say to Him, Forgive our sins that we may offer fruit of our lips. Joel 1:13-15 Put on sackcloth, o priests, and morn; wail, you who minister before the altar. Come spend the night in sackcloth, you who minister before my God; for the grain offerings and the drink offerings are withheld from the House of your God. Declare a Holy Fast, call a sacred assembly. Summon the elders and all who live in the land to the House of the Lord your God, and cry out to the Lord. Alas for that day! For the day of the Lord is near; it will come like a destruction from the Almighty. Hosea 14:4-9 I will heal their waywardness and love them freely, for My anger had turned away from them. I will be like dew to Israel; he will blossom like a lily - like a cedar of Lebanon He will send down his roots, His young shoots will grow. His splendour will be like an olive tree, His fragrance like a cedar of Lebanon. Men will once again dwell in His shade. He will flourish like the grain. He will blossom like a vine, and His fame will be like the wine of Lebanon. O Ephraim, what more do I have to do with your idols? I answer him, I care for him. I am like a green pine tree, your fruitfulness comes from Me. Who is wise will realise these things. Who is discerning, he will understand them. The ways of the Lord is right, the righteous walks in them, but the rebellious stumbles in them. Matthew 3:1-3 In those days John the Baptist came preaching in the Desert of Judah saying: Repent for the Kingdom of Heaven is near. This is He who was spoken of through the prophet Isaiah: A voice of one calling in the desert. Prepare the way of the Lord, make straight the paths for Him. Matthew 3:12- I baptise you with water for repentance. But after me will come One who is more powerful than I, whose sandals I am not fit to carry. He will baptize you with the Holy Spirit and with fire. His winnowing fork is in His hand, and He will clear His threshing floor, gathering His wheat into the barn and burning up the chaff with unquenchable fire. Luke 13:1-9 There were present at that season some that told Him of the Galileans, whose blood Pilate had mingled with their sacrifices. And Jesus answering them said unto them, Suppose you that these Galileans were sinners above all the Galileans, because they did such things? I tell you, no, but except you repent, you shall all likewise perish. * THE LORDS DISCIPLES Isaiah 8: Bind up the testimony, seal the law among my disciples. And I will wait upon the Lord, that hideth His face from the house of Jacob, and I will look for Him. Behold I and the children the Lord hath given me are for signs and for wonders in Israel from the Lord of hosts, which dwells in mount Zion. And when they shall say unto you: Seek unto them that have familiar spirits and unto wizards that peep and that mutter; should not a people seek unto their God? - for the living to the dead. Psalm 72:1-19 Endow the King with your justice God, the Royal Son with your righteousness. He will judge Your people in righteousness, Your afflicted ones with justice. The mountains will bring prosperity to the people, the hills the fruit of righteousness. He will defend the afflicted among the people and save the children of the needy, He will crush the oppressor. He will endure as long as the sun, as long as the moon, through all generations. He will be like rain falling on the mown field, like showers watering the earth. In his days the righteous will flourish, prosperity will abound till the moon is no more. He will rule from sea to sea and from The River to the ends of the earth. The desert tribes will bow before Him and his enemies will lick the dust. The kings of Tarshish will bring tribute to Him; the kings of Sheba will present Him gifts. All kings will bow down to Him and all nations will serve Him. For He will deliver the needy who cry out, the afflicted who have no help. He will take pity on the weak and the needy and save the needy from death. He will rescue the from oppression and violence, for precious is their blood in His sight. Long may He live! May gold from Sheba be given Him. May people ever pray for Him and bless Him all day long. Let grain abound throughout the land; on the tops of the hills may it sway. Let its fruit flourish like Lebanon, let it thrive like grass of the field. May His name endure forever, may it continue as long as the sun. All nations will be blessed through Him, and call Him blessed. Praise be to the Lord God, the God of Israel, who alone does marvelous deeds. Praise be to His glorious Name forever; may the whole earth be filled with His glory! Amen and Amen. * OUR SOVEREIGN LORD HIMSELF WILL SEARCH FOR HIS LOST SHEEP AND TAKE CARE OF THEM Ezekiel 34:11-16 For this is what the Sovereign Lord says: I myself will search for My sheep and look after them. As a shepherd looks after his scattered flock, when he is with them, so will I look after My sheep. I will rescue them from all the places where they were scattered on a day of clouds and darkness. I will bring them out from the nations and gather them from the countries, and I will bring them into their own land. Isaiah 65:13-16 Therefore this is what the Sovereign Lord says: My servants will eat, but you will go hungry; My servants will drink, but you will go thirsty; My servants will rejoice, but you will be put to shame. My servants will sing out of the joy of their hearts, but you will cry out from anguish of heart and wail in brokenness of spirit. You will leave your name to My chosen ones as a curse, the Sovereign Lord will put you to death, but TO HIS SERVANTS HE WILL GIVE ANOTHER NAME. Whoever invokes a blessing in the land will do so by the GOD OF TRUTH. For the past troubles will be forgotten and hidden from My eyes. Matthew 14:15-21 As the evening approached, the disciples came to Him and said, This a a remote place and it is already getting late. Send the croWds away so they can go to the villages and buy themselves some food. Jesus replied, They do not need to go away. You give them something to eat. We have here only five loaves of bread and two fish, they answered. Bring them here to Me, he said and directed the people to sit down on the grass. Taking the loaves and the two fish and looking at the heavens, He gave thanks and broke the loaves. Then He gave it to the disciples and the disciples gave them to the people. They all ate and were satisfied and the disciples picked up twelve basketfuls of broken pieces that were left over. The number of those who ate was about five thousand men, besides women and children. Matthews 10:1-2 He called the twelve disciples to Him, and gave them authority to drive out evil spirits and to heal every disease and sickness. These are the names of the twelve apostles, first, Simon who is called Peter (son of Jonah, Matthew 16:17) and his brother Andrew, James son of Zebedee and his brother John, Philip and Bartholomew, Thomas and Matthew the tax collector, James son of Alphaeus and Thaddaeus. Simon the Zealot and Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Him. (Mark 3:13-19; * SOME OF THOSE WHO SURVIVE WILL BE SEND OUT Isaiah 66:19-21 I will set a sign among them, and I will sent some of those who survive to the nations - to Tarshish, to the Libyans and Lydians, to Tubal and Greece, and to the distant islands that have not heard of My fame or seen My glory. They will proclaim My glory among the nations. And they will bring all your brothers from all the nations, to My Holy Mountain in Jerusalem as an offering to the Lord - on horses, in chariots and wagons, and on mules and camels, says the Lord. They will bring them as the Israelites bring their grain offerings, to the Temple of the Lord in ceremonially clean vessels. And I will select some of them also to be priests and Levites, says the Lord. As the new heavens and the new earth that I make will endure before Me, declares the Lord. So will your name and descendants endure. From one New Moon to another and from one Sabbath to another all mankind will come and bow down before Me, says the Lord. And they will go out and look upon the dead bodies of those who rebelled against Me; their worm will not die, nor will their fire be quenched, and they will be loathsome to all mankind. Matthew 10:37-42 Anyone who loves his father or mother more than Me is not worthy of Me, anyone who loves his son or daughter more than Me is not worthy of me, and anyone who does not take his cross and follow Me is not worthy of Me. Whoever finds his life will lose it, and whoever loses his life for My sake will find it. He who receives you receives Me, and he who receives Me, receives the One who sent Me. Anyone who receives a prophet will receive a prophets reward, and anyone who receive a righteous man, will receive a righteous mans reward. And if anyone gives even a cup of cold water to one of these little ones because he is My disciple, I tell you the truth, he will certainly not lose his reward. * THE LAW AND THE WORD OF GOD - THE LAW IS LOVE - RIGHTEOUS Isaiah 8:20-22 To the Law and to the testimony: If they speak not according to this word, it is because there is no light in them, and they shall pass through it, hardly bestead and hungry; and it shall come to pass, that when they shall be hungry, they shall fret themselves, and curse their king and their God and look upward. And they shall look unto the earth, and behold trouble and darkness, dimness of anguish, and they shall be driven to darkness. Malachi 4:1-5 For, behold the day comes, that shall burn as an oven; and all the proud, yes, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble: and the day that comes shall burn them up, says the Lord of hosts, that it shall leave them neither root nor branch. But unto you that fear My Name shall the Son of Righteousness arise with healing in His wings; and you shall go forth and grow up calves of the stall. And you shall tread down the wicked; for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet in the day that I shall do this, says the Lord of hosts. Remember you the Law of Moses, My servant, which I commanded unto him in Horeb for all Israel, with the statues and judgments. Behold, I will send you Elijah the prophet before the coming of the great and dreadful day of the Lord: and he shall turn the heart of the fathers to the children, and the heart of the children to their fathers, lest I come and smite the earth with a curse. Matthew 5:17-20 Think not that I am come to destroy the Law or the Prophets; I am not come to destroy, but to fulfil. For, verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled. Whoever therefore shall break one of these commandments, and shall teach men so, he shall be called the least in the kingdom of heaven. For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, you shall in no case enter the kingdom of heaven. Luke 15:16 The Law and the Prophets were until John: since that time the Kingdom of God is preached, and every man presses unto it. And it is easier for heaven and earth to pass, than one tittle of the Law to fail. Matthew 23:23 Woe unto you scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites, for you pay tithe of mint and anise and cummin, and have omitted the weightier matters of the Law: judgment, mercy, and faith; these ought you to have done, and not to leave the other undone. * LISTENERS: SPEAK IN DAY LIGHT WHAT IS WHISPERED IN YOUR EARS Matthew 10:24-28 A student is not above his teacher, nor a servant above his master. It is enough for the student to be like his teacher, and the servant like the master. If the Head of the House has been called Beelzebub, how much more the members of His household? So do not be afraid of them. There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known. What I tell you in the dark, speak in the daylight; what is whispered in your ears, proclaim from the rooftops. Do not be afraid of those who kill the body but cannot kill the soul. Rather be afraid of the One who can destroy both the soul and body in hell. Matthew 12:34-37 I tell you that men will have to give account on the day of judgment for every careless word they have spoken. For by your words you will be acquitted, and by your words you will be condemned. * TRUE PREACHERS Malachi 2:7-8 For the lips of a priest, ought to preserve knowledge, and from his mouth men should seek instruction - because he is the messenger of the Lord Almighty. But you have turned from the way and by your teaching have caused many to stumble, you have violated the covenant with Levi, says the Lord Almighty. So I have caused you to be despised and humiliated before all the people, because you have not followed My ways but have shown partiality in matters of the law. Matthew 13:52 He said to them: Therefore every teacher of the law who had been instructed about the Kingdom of Heaven is like the owner of a house who brings out of his storeroom new treasures as well as old. (Study the parables on the Kingdom of Heaven.) * WHOEVER SHUNS EVIL BECOMES A PREY Isaiah 59:15- Truth is nowhere to be found, and whoever shuns evil becomes a prey. The Lord looked and was displeased that there was no justice. He saw that there was no one, he was appalled that there was no one to intervene; so His own arm worked salvation for Him and His own righteousness sustained Him. He put on righteousness as His breastplate, and the helmet of salvation on His head; He put on the garment of vengeance and wrapped Himself in zeal as in a cloak. According to what they have done, so will He repay wrath to His enemies and retribution to His foes; He will repay the islands their due. From the West men will fear the Lord, and from the rising of the sun, they will revere His glory. For He will come like a pent up flood, that the breath of the Lord drives along. The Redeemer will come to Zion, to Jacob who repent of their sins, declares the Lord. Matthew 10:21-23 Brother will betray brother to death, and a father his child: children will rebel against their parents and have them put to death. All men will hate you because of Me, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. Matthew 23:33-36 You snakes! You brood of vipers! How will you escape being condemned to hell? Therefore, I am sending you prophets and wise men and teachers. Some of them you will flog in your synagogues and pursue from town to town. And so upon you will come all the righteous blood that has been shed on earth, from the blood of righteous Abel to the blood of Zechariah son of Berekiah, whom you murdered between the temple and the altar. I tell you the truth, all this will come upon this generation. * LOVE ONE ANOTHER Zechariah 8:16-23 These are the things you are to do: Speak the truth to each other and render true and sound judgement in your courts; do not plot evil against your neighbor, and do not love to swear falsely, I hate all this, declares the Lord. Again the Word of the Lord Almighty came to me, This is what the Lord Almighty says, The fasts of the fourth, fifth, seventh and tenth months will become joyful and glad occasions and happy festivals for Judah. Therefore love truth and peace. This is what the Lord Almighty says, Many peoples and the inhabitants of many cities will yet come, and the inhabitants of one city will go to another and say. Let us go at once and entreat the Lord and seek the Lord Almighty and entreat Him. This is what the Lord Almighty says, In those days ten men from all languages and nations will take firm hold of one Jew by the hem of his robe and say: Let us go with you, because we have heard that God is with you. Matthew 12:15-21 Aware of this (that the Pharisees were plotting to kill Him), Jesus withdrew from that place. Many followed Him, and He healed all their sick, warning them not to tell who He was. This was to fulfill what was spoken through the prophet Isaiah: Here is My servant whom I have chosen, the one I love, in whom I delight. I will put My Spirit on him, and He will proclaim justice to the nations. He will not quarrel or cry out; no one will hear His voice in the streets. A bruised reed He will not break, and a smoldering wick He will not snuff out, till He leads justice to victory. In His Name the nations will put their hope. * THE NEW COVENANT THAT LEADS TO ETERNAL LIFE Zechariah 9:9-13 Rejoice greatly o Daughter of Zion! Shout, Daughter of Jerusalem! See your King comes to you, righteous and having salvation, gentle and riding on a donkey, on a colt, the foal of a donkey. I will take away the chariots from Ephraim and the war-horses from Jerusalem, and the battle bow will be broken. He will proclaim peace to the nations. His rule will extend from sea to sea and from the River to the end of the earth. As for you, because of THE BLOOD OF MY COVENANT WITH YOU. I will free your prisoners from the waterless pit. Return to your fortress, o prisoners of hope, even now I announce that I will restore twice as much to you. I will bend Judah as I bend my bow and fill it with Ephraim. I will rouse your sons, o Zion against your sons, o Greece and make you like a warriors sword. Isaiah 65:17-19 Behold, I will create new heavens an a new earth. The former things will not be remembered, nor will they come to mind. But be glad and rejoice forever in what I will create, for I will create Jerusalem to the delight in My people; the sound of weeping will be heard in it no more. * JESUS BORE THE SIN OF MANY AND MADE INTERCESSION FOR THEIR TRANSGRESSIONS, AS HE SAID HE WOULD DO FOR HIS DISCIPLES Isaiah 53:1-12 Who has believed our message and to whom has the arm of the Lord been revealed? He grew up before Him like a tender shoot and like a root out of dry ground. He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to Him, nothing in His appearance that we should desire Him. He was despised and rejected by men; a Man of sorrow and familiar with suffering. Like one from whom men hide their faces He was despised and we esteemed Him not. Surely He took up our infirmities and carried our sorrows, yet we considered Him stricken by God, smitten by Him, and afflicted. But He was pierced for our transgressions, he was crushed for our iniquities; the punishment that brought us peace was upon Him and by His wounds we are healed. We all like sheep, have gone astray, each of us turned to his own way, and the Lord has laid on Him the iniquity of us all. He was oppressed and afflicted, yet He did not open His mouth; He was led like a lamb to the slaughter, and as a sheep before her shearers is silent, so He did not open His mouth. By oppression and judgement, He was taken away. And who can speak of His descendants. For He was cut off from the land of the living, for the transgressions of my people He was stricken. He was assigned a grave with the wicked and with the rich in His death, though He had done no violence, nor was any deceit in His mouth. Yet it was the Lords will to crush Him and cause Him to suffer, and though the Lord makes His life a guilt offering, He will see His offspring and prolong His days, and the will of the Lord will prosper in His hand. After the suffering of His soul, He will see the light of life and be satisfied; by His knowledge My righteous servant will justify many and He will bear their iniquities. Therefore, I will give Him a portion among the great, and He will divide the spoils with the strong, because He poured out His life unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors. For He bore the sin of many and made intercession for their transgressions. * JESUS LAMENT FOR JERUSALEM Matthew 23:37-38 O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, you who kill the prophets and stone those sent to you, how often I have longed to gather your children together, as a hen gathers her chicks under her wings, but you were not willing. Look, your house is left to you desolate. * OUR LORD WILL NOT COME AGAIN UNTIL THEY SAY: BLESSED IS HE WHO COME IN THE NAME OF THE LORD. Matthew 23:39 For I tell you, you will not see Me again until you say: Blessed is He who come in the Name of the Lord. * THE LORDS JUDGMENT ON THE EARTH UNTIL THE END OF TIME Matthew 18:7-9 Woe to the world because of the things that cause people to sin! Such things must come, but woe to the man through whom they come. If your hand or your foot causes you to sin, cut it off and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life maimed or crippled than to have two hands or two feet and be thrown into eternal fire. And if your eye causes you to sin, gouge it out and throw it away. It is better for you to enter life with one eye than have two eyes and be thrown into the fire of hell. Luke 21:9 When you hear of wars and revolutions, do not be frightened. These things must happen first, but the end will not come right away. Then He said to them: Nation will rise against nation and kingdom against kingdom. There will be great earthquakes, famines and pestilences in various place and fearful events and great signs from heaven. * THE EARTH WOULD BE MADE EMPTY AND MADE WASTE, FOR GOD IS CREATING A NEW HEAVEN AND EARTH Isaiah 24:1-23 Behold, the Lord makes the earth empty, and makes it waste, and turns it upside down, and scatters abroad the inhabitants thereof. And it shall be, as with the people, so with priest; as with the servant, so with his master; as with the maid, so with her mistress; as with the buyer, so with the seller; as with the lender, so with the borrower; as with the borrower, so with the usury; so with the taker of usury, so with the giver of usury to him. The land shall utterly be emptied and utterly spoiled: for the Lord has spoken His word. (Read on.) Jesus said: Because My Father work still, I work also. Isaiah 62:1- For Zions sake will I not hold My peace, and for Jerusalems sake I will not rest, until the righteousness thereof go forth as brightness, and the salvation thereof as a lamp that burns. And the Gentiles shall see your righteousness, and all kings your glory; and you shall be called by a new name. You shall also be a crown of glory in the hand of the Lord; and a royal diadem in the hand of your God. You shall no more be termed Forsaken; neither shall your land any more be termed Desolate: but you shall be called Hephzibah, and your land Beulah: for the Lord delights in you, and your land shall be married. For as a young man marries a virgin, so shall your sons marry you - and as the groom rejoice over the bride, so shall your God rejoice over you. I have set watchmen upon your walls o Jerusalem, which shall never hold their peace day nor night; you that make mention of the Lord, keep not silence, and give him no rest, till He establish, and till He make Jerusalem a praise in the earth. Luke 10:13-16 Woe unto thee, Chorazin! Woe unto you, Bethsaida, for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon, which have been done in you, they would have had a great while ago repented, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. But it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you. And you, Capernaum, which are exalted to heaven, shall be thrust down to hell. He that hears you, hears Me; he that despises you, despises Me; and he the despises Me, despises Him that sent Me. * SIGNS OF THE END TIMES: Matthew 24:4-14 BIRTH PAINS: * Jesus answered: Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in My Name, claiming: I am Christ, and will deceive many. * You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come. * Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. * There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains. BEFORE THAT: THE APOSTLES: * Then you will be handed over to be persecuted and put to death, and you will be hated by all nations because of Me. * At that time many will turn away from their faith and will betray and hate each other, and many false prophets will appear and deceive many people. * Because of the increase of wickedness, the love of most will grow cold, but he who stands firm to the end will be saved. * And this Gospel of the Kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all the nations, and then the end will come. THE ABOMINATION IN THE HOLY PLACE: * So when you see the abomination that causes desolation, spoken of by Daniel - let the teacher understand - then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains. Let no one on the roof of his house go down to take anything out of his house. Let no one in the field go back to get his cloak. How dreadful it will be in those days for pregnant women and nursing mothers. Pray that your flight will not take place in winter or on the Sabbath. For then there will be great distress, unequaled from the beginning of the world until now - and never to be equaled again. If those days had not been cut short, no one would survive, but for the sake of the elect, those days will be shortened. * At that time, if anyone says to you: Look there is Christ! or There He is!, do not believe it. For false Christs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles to deceive even the elect - if that were possible. See, I have told you ahead of time. So if anyone tells you: There he is, out in the desert, do not go out; or, Here he is, in the inner rooms, do not believe it. For as lightning that comes from the West, so will be the coming of the Son of Man. * Immediately after the distress of those days the sun will be darkened and the moon will not give light; the stars will fall from the sky and the heavenly bodies will be shaken. * At that time The Sign of the Son of Man will appear in the sky and all the nations of the earth will mourn. * They will see the Son of Man coming on the clouds of the sky, with power and great glory. * And He will send His angels with a loud trumpet call, and they will gather His elect from the four winds, from one end of the heavens to the other. (Also read Revelation 14:14-20) I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away untill all these things have happened. Heaven and earth will pass away, but My words will never pass away. * THE DAY AND THE HOUR UNKNOWN: REMAIN FAITHFULL AND WISE Luke 12:37-40 Blessed are those servants, whom the Lord find watching; verily I say unto you, that He shall gird Himself, and make them sit down to meat, and will come forth to serve them. And if He shall come in the second watch, or come in the third watch, and find them so, blessed are those servants. And know this, that if the goodman of the house had known what hour the thief would come, he would have watched, and not have suffered his house to be broken through. Be you therefore ready also: for the Son of man comes at an hour when you think not. (The seven seals: Revelation 6) Revelation 14:13 And I heard a voice from heaven saying unto me, Write. Blessed are the dead which die in the Lord henceforth. Yes, with the Spirit, that they may rest from their labours; and their works do follow them. * THEY WILL BE CLEANSED FROM THEIR SINS AND NO ONE WILL PROPHESY AGAIN Haggai 13:1-6 On that day a fountain will be opened to the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem, to cleanse them from sin and impurity. On that day, I will banish the names of the idols from the land and they will be remembered no more, declares the Lord Almighty. I will remove both the prophets and the spirit of impurity from the land. And if anyone still prophesies, his father and mother, to whom he was born, will say to him, You must die, because you have told lies in the Lords name. When he prophesies his own parents will stab him. On that day every prophet will be ashamed of his prophetic vision. He will not put on a prophets garment of hair in order to deceive. He will say: I am not a prophet. I am a farmer. If someone ask Him: What are these wounds on your body? He will answer: The wounds I was given was given at the house of My friends. * NEW HEAVENs AND NEW EARTH: THE KINGDOM OF HEAVEN Isaiah 65:17-25 For, behold, I create new heavens and a new earth, and the former shall not be remembered, nor come into mind. But ye be glad and rejoice forever in that which I create, for behold, I create Jerusalem a rejoicing, and her people a joy. And I will rejoice in Jerusalem, and joy in My people; and the voice of weeping shall be no more heard in her nor the voice of crying. There shall no more thence an infant of days, for the child shall die a hundred years old, but the sinner being a hundred years old shall be accursed. Luke 12:32-34 Fear not, little flock, for it is your Fathers good pleasure to give you the kingdom. Sell what you have, and give alms; provide yourselves bags which wax not old - a treasure in the heavens that faileth not, where no thief approaches, neither moth corrupts. For where your treasure is, there will your heart also be.
