Babies dont get enough credit for how smart they are. Theyre the cutest, sweetest, most adorable manipulators known to man. And, yes, specifically men, because we fall victim much more often than the moms. I put Ezra down for a nap; he cries for twenty minutes. I come in to give him his pacifier and put him back down. I pick him up to fix his shirt that hes somehow twisted around, and I then give him his paci. Before I could put him back down, he puts his head on my chest and instantly falls to sleep. Where am I now? Writing this from his rocking chair, that is just in earshot of the whistles of the Cowboys/Lions game. It was an enjoyable game, too. Trust no baby.
