Baby Boomers (By E Thomas) Once upon a time there was an asteroid Then it smashed into another asteroid It broke up into many different sized rocks Great balls of fire! From the point of impact, stemmed a barrage Fountains of bouquets showered the Earth People from every race froze in shock Africans turned white… Irish people turned even whiter, so white they glowed… Children wearing weighted diapers struggled to run Senior citizens, too old to give a dam, laughed… Over half the world stripped… Stripped naked to shag with the person next to them… Complete strangers loved each other for one last thrill… However, the asteroids burned so hot When they entered into Earth’s atmosphere They completely disintegrated and vanished So they never hit the ground The population nearly doubled After the first year of the incident Of the Bouquet, of asteroids Baby-boomers Born
