Baby Ellis Update: Sorry its Late everyone x Ellis is getting better slowly. He was still on iv fluids yesterday and they are slowly increasing his milk intake. Anyway, the line which the iv fluids were going into came loose and started leaking last night so they have had to take it out and rather than put another one in (which will just upset him) they have left him overnight and are hoping he will just keep tolerating the increases in milk so he wont need the iv fluids anyway. All of his blood cultures have come back negative so antibiotics have been stopped. They are wondering if he just has a little diarrhea and vomiting bug which should hopefully just pass on its own. The Surgeon came to see us a few days ago and said he wants Ellis to have something called a Q scan before we go home and at the moment I think this is planned for Thursday. We also need to get him off the tiny, tiny amount of oxygen he is on and then once that is sorted along with his feeds, we should be able to go Home
