Baby Steps: While many of you may be waiting for adorable little clips of our darling little foals romping and playing with each other in the East Paddock, where they spend their enrichment time with their spectacular mothers....McGarrah and Kami have ideas (and McGarrah has OPINIONS) of their own. We are delighting in watching their two distinct personalities and preferences emerge. McGarrah is a bit bold and extremely social, she has also taken to playing in the water trough, and delights herself in splashing and sloshing water...everywhere! McGarrah throws tantrums when it is time to return to her huge and roomy stall at dinner time, and seems to enjoy giving the Red Riding Hoods a bit of a run around in the process. Kami has a donkey fetish and is especially fascinated, if not obsessed with Coco the donkey. Coco, equally is completely entranced with little Kami and does not leave the fence line, nor remove her eyes from her two week old little gal pal the entire time that the mares and foals are turned out. Today, the two foals had their first hello, and then returned to their respective hobbies of swimming and donkey gazing.Both fillies are welcoming visitors Sundays during Red Bucket visitors hours 1:00-4:00.
