Baby Susan update: Pulmonary and ENT docs looked at Susans lungs and airway. Her airway is extremely swollen, preventing air from getting to lungs. Doctor recommended trach and said it would be temporary until Susans airway healed, scar tissue, etc - while allowing lungs to grow Docs went back into surgery just now, to begin tracheotomy. Angela and I are very happy. Temporary Trach is a huge win for Susan. Not sure if that means months, or 1-2 years but its not a lifetime. The pulmonary team said her lungs look fine, no growths or abnormalities. Thats all we have for now. Will update later. THANK YOU for all your prayers.
