Baby is home and safely ensconced in her crate. I bought a big fluffy dog pillow to fill the crate so she wont be able to move around excessively. She is wanting to bear weight on the leg, and Dr. C is very pleased by that... but she doesnt need to bear much weight on it just yet. It will be the same routine as before: Two or three potty breaks per day, with her hindquarters supported by a sling; hot compresses three or four times daily; and a lot of crate time. She didnt like it before and I dont expect her to like it this time either, but its got to be done. Im more interested in Baby healing than in Baby being happy - its short-term, and shell eventually forget it!
