Baby is too big AND I have an excessive amount of amniotic fluid. 2 ultrasounds last week, and now 3 this week! WTH I honestly do not understand why they dont just force me in to induce me. Sending me to Albany on friday to have the docs there make their assessment, and will then decide what they want to do. Drain some of the excess, put me on bed rest, c-sec etc. I AM NOT HAPPY. I would go today and endure the stupid pitocin if this crap would just stop. They say it is because my sugar is uncontrolled. But what they have been hesitant to admit, is that, in my case, it is not from over eating and not being careful about what I eat. It has been because I have consistently under ate this entire pregnancy, because of working, heartburn, and having no room for the food to go. Yeah they dont let ladies know very often, but yes, when you dont eat enough, your liver spews sugar back into your system to keep your levels up. So whatever damage that has been done is already done. Why would I take insulin or a pill to keep my sugar low, when my problem is that I should be eating more!!! I am trying to not take to FB to spill my frustrations , but I have many friends in the health industry, many hippie mamas and plenty of people that have had entirely different circumstances with each of their childrens births. I just want to have my baby in peace, not all poked and prodded and loaded with chemicals and intervention. Not looking for sympathy, trust me, just not understanding why everyone needs to fit into the same realm when we are all so different. I dont want anything to happen to me or my child. I just want to have the right to give birth to it.
