Baby update: Emma was asked today if she was ready to be a big sister and her response was, I was born ready!. It looks like she will be a big sister within the next 36 hours or so. After speaking with my doctor, she felt like it was a bit risky to wait too much longer on the baby to come on his own since my uterine lining is on the thinner side and that could result in a uterine rupture. We have decided to give the membrane sweep one final try tomorrow to see if that will kick start labor for me. Every time we have tried it, it has caused me to have strong contractions and dilate, but I never go into full blown labor. We are hoping the third try will be the charm tomorrow, but if not, I am scheduled for a c-section at 7:15 a.m. on Friday morning. Either way, Eli should hopefully be here in our arms by Friday at the latest. We are so excited that we are finally going to meet our son and that our daughter who was born ready will get to be a big sister!
