BacciPaintball correspondent, Crazy James OClaire (Trickshot Champion of the 1700s) sent some videos and photos from a recent work organized outing in Beijing, China. According to James, the field they attended was mainly for beginning groups and operated with rules more suited for Laser Tag. Lack of barrel plugs, Referees not wearing masks in the staging and nearby homes make it a little sketchy but still neat to see. Big thanks to James for the photos and video. At first I thought the paintgun pictured was a VM-68 but after a little closer examination I think some are actually a mix of genuine Sheridan VM-68s (the Virtual Machine) and Rap4 / Qian Wei Paintballs S-2, a near identical VM-68 clone. The Identifying features that lead me to believe some are S-2s: •The non lone star m-16 grips. •The aluminum non engraved side rails on a few. •The clear (maybe once painted) or plated feedblocks. •The round piece of aluminum which is below the trigger (that the m-16 mounts to).
