:: Back at good ol Singapore. Five amazing days of Phuketteering! Last 2 days we: 1. Went to watch Siam Niramit, an extravaganza which to me was more of Haw Par Villa meet Disney on Ice Show, (especially the part about Heaven n Hell). However, I must say that the stage set, costumes and overall performance were spectacular and entertaining. 2. Zorbing: putting my kids into this big hollow ball and roll it down the hill. A handy contraption to have at home for parents with 3 kids or more. 3. Visited the Big Buddha on top of a hill. The place was still in a midst of being constructed, but the view at the top was amazing. 4. Viewed the 3 popular beaches in Phuket. Yes, we viewed beaches while normal tourists would actually walk and experience the sand, sun and water at the beach. 5. Ate seafood at Rawai Gypsies Village. Bought the fish and got the restaurant to cook it for us. Delectable and well prepared but Taiwan Tourists spoiled the ambience and tranquility of a seaside eatery. 6. Visited the Upside Down house, where the entire house is resting on its roof, unlike normal human house where the roof is on top. 7. Shopping at Central Festive, just a normal big mall that you can easily find in Singapore. Didnt buy anything cos too busy admiring Taiwanese tourist turning the mall into wet market by just using their voices. 8. Visited Cashew Nuts processing factory cum emporium. There are only so many ways you can make cashew nuts so exciting. Overall the entire trip is rated a 4.1 out of 5, the sea cave canoeing was the highlight of the the outing.The lowlight would be Taiwanese Tourists talking loudly, so loud that folks back at Taiwan could hear their exciting conversation.
