Back at home this morn after seven days out at work- 3 in Penang, Malaysia & 3 at the Bangalore Literature Festival. The first meant talking to & media-training 40 activists and campaigners from 12 countries brought together in a workshop by the Pesticide Action Network - Asia Pacific. The next was about moderating a couple of sessions with authors & journalists; anchoring evenings of music by Bombay Jayashree & Shubha Mudgal. And catching up with writer friends from all over the country & adding yet another totally new set. If I were to make a mental list of aalll the people I have met, spoken to, smiled at - & chuckled at secretly - just this one week, it would go from the funny to quirky, pretentious, oh-so-wannabe, fake, flaky, simple, happy, genuine, fantastic, awe-inspiring, humbling.. Do I now qualify to apply for PhD in human behaviour?
