Back from GP SLC and had an amazing time! My sealed pool was so-so and I ended up starting strong with a 5-1 record but got to see just how weak my deck was compared to the other strong starts losing almost every game to hornet queens, cone of flames or [insert overpowered soul here] bombs. Best thing my deck had going for it was triplicate spirit x2 and a sunblade elf. In hindsight I probably overvalued the cards as my red and blue were probably superior to the white/green but the temptation was too much. The elf + spirit combo basically won me every win. Overall I am not impressed with M15 sealed, it seems to me to be a much less forgiving format for weak pools vs strong pools. In THS block I had a lot more success with sealed as I found that just creating a good curve and just outplaying your opponent could get you much further than M15 could. Anyhoo, day two I decided to borrow a deck from my friend and play in the Super Sunday Series where I went 6-1-1 with Jund Planeswalkers (not a rogue deck but I didnt bring a standard deck so I had to borrow one!) finishing in 7th place and just missing the top 4. This was my second top 8 finish in a Super Sunday Series. Big shout out to a fan of RDB, Ian from California for also making top 8 for the second consecutive time! Overall I had a great experience and was overwhelmed with the amount of people who came up and told me they loved the channel and were fans of RDB. I think we are gaining recognition! I feel pretty re-energized and am ready to take on the youtube channel again. I appreciate all of the support and kind words. Kevin
