Back from a fabulous weeks vacation on the Blues Cruise to the East Caribbean with my bff Jan. So many highlights, but a few outstanding ones: sitting on the pool deck with Taj Mahal and talking about the importance of priorities in life and how protecting our environment is more important then singing the blues...and he said that to me, not the other way around...and for that I kissed him on the cheek... being at the piano bar for some of the best voices and singers Ive ever heard... being able to visit beautiful beaches in Anguilla, St. Thomas and Grand Turks... having great conversations with some of the staff on the ship....most who were from Bali telling me all about how wonderful it is there and...yes I want to go to Bali... Dancing and swinging to blues bands and musicians young and old... well...I could write a million words about the trip... its an experience I will treasure.
