Back from catching =Godzilla= in Lynchburg (B. symphonies 5 & 7 on the way up, Mutter playing Bach sonatas and partitas on the way back). Id never seen any of the Godzilla movies before. This one is a lot of fun. Very effectively done. All the science talk is gobbledygook of course, but the actors are good and frames imaginative and, except for a couple of places where the digital backgrounds are too easily read as digital backgrounds, often breathtaking.
