Back from my outing to Goodwill and got many things then stopped by Wal mart and got MORE perennials! Five pink Phlox and four purple Salvia. Then stopped and bought a six foot cedar trellis at Jerrys. Ever walked down the isles of Jerrys with a trellis on your cart? It was a first for me too. I had the pointy sticks pointing out and people got out of my way anyway! Davids already got it up out there for my trumpet vines to climb. He used those plastic fasteners and attached it to the copper drain pipe. Looks a little tacky right now but I figure the vines will cover the fasteners soon at the rate their growing. Now debating if I want to get another one to put beside this one because I did plant two vines and might have overdone it. They always look so small and then whooom. Well had lunch got Marty changed maybe I better go plant those flowers still cool out before the cloud cover burns off. Everybody have a GREAT 4th! It is GOOD to be alive and free in America!! Thank you to my grandmas and grandpas Mannila and Rahnaso for coming to the USA so many moons ago all four came from Finland! Long trip no looking back! Your grandkids and their kids and their kids
