Back from the London School of Economics where I chatted with Polly Toynbee Columnist at the #Grauniad after the lecture - who said we in Scotland must vote #RedTory because, she said, the electorate South of the Border would never accept the outcome of a general election whereby Labour would run a minority government with the SNP supporting it only on a case by case basis. I said well weve done it in Scotland and it works, so why not? A tribal Labourite who disnnae understand that the majority of the Left in our country would rather boil oor heids than vote #RedTory. She was wrong about voting #FibDem in 2010 and shes wrong again now. Polly Toynbee hasnae got a clue about Scottish politics or the fact that how we vote disnnae affect who wins at Westminster. I told her that the SNP would not tolerate Red Tory austerity in the form of Balls & Co. Also told her thanks for everything she does exposing the false narratives - but we in Scotland will be returning 59 SNP Left Wing MPs to Wastemonster in May and that she can tell her pals to deal wiit. In the politest possible way possible, of course! ;-)
