Back from work after making the big mistake of not taking a day off to recover from the Con! Still shattered from driving all the art show display back yesterday and managing to get to the Dead Monkey party after our last train home left! Many thanks to TriG and Ross for helping deliver stuff! Ive had an amazing weekend helping run the Captains of Industry with the unstoppable Kirstine, who deserves a medal for continuing on even when put into a wheelchair! So many highlights from the con, from running my first event with BlockbustARRRs, catching up with lots of friends and making new ones, introducing more people to cinnamon whiskey and hopefully giving a lot of people a laugh with our antics. To say you get back what you put into an event like this is an understatement, Im still recovering from the massive group hug when we had to make our farewell. Hats off to all the concom for putting it all together, especially the monks of cool as we get to be the visible fronts for all the society stuff that was their idea to begin with and they just let us run with it (Cooke especially for coming up with the amazing intro game) Now to try and plan what we can do to top it for the Irish Discworld Convention 2015 !
