Back home after accompanying eleven singing exams in Castlebar. Mostly went well, though I turned two pages in one song and didnt notice until a panic stricken singer glared at me when her entry didnt match my accompaniment. Fortunately she wasnt fazed and we got it together after a pregnant stop. Back in Castlebar in the morning for a rehearsal of all 21 choruses in Messiah. I must also start working on the music for the Moy Singers concert, which Im also accompanying. My arthritic wrists and finger joints are beginning to suffer badly. Cant accompany like I used to.
